Vivekananda was born in 1863 in a rich family. Through his childhood he displayed outstanding qualities of character, great devotion, talent, a deep philosophical mind, and a capacity for both deep meditation and intense compassion for his follow men.

Vivekananda was born in Dutta Family in Calcutta. Since his childhood his keen interest was in spirituality. Vivekananda was always thinking that, if we have soul in our body then we should realize it. If there is a GOD in this world then we should see him or else we can not say there is a GOD. He was always seeking for such person who has seen GOD. One day they had some spiritual discussion in their class and from his teacher he came to know there is one person in Dakshineshwar who has realized GOD. Vivekananda was very much interested to meet such person so he went along with his friend to Dakshineshwar.
When he went to meet Ramakrishna, he asked first question that, “Have you seen GOD”?. Ramakrishna was surprised about his question and replied, “Yes, I have seen GOD.
Vivekananda asked next question whether he can see GOD. He told, “Yes, even you can see God.” From that moment he started dreaming to see GOD.
From this we can get, passion to see GOD and derive courage from swami Vivekananda.
He had really highly outstanding capacity. Slowly he realized that everything is within us so he started his sadhana and used to do that regularly.
After certain period he got self realization and that he put it front of millions of people.
He told after self realization you can do any thing. Nothing will be impossible for you. Some people think that it is magic, but it is not magic, it is exact science.
In Chicago, he gave very wonder-full lecture and that he has mentioned in his book i.e. RAJAYOGA.

His every incident is really inspiring for today’s generation, among that I would like to mention one of his incident.
This was happened when Vivekananda went to America.
He was just sitting near the tree on the bank of river and few boys were trying to hit the egg shell which was floating on the river.
They were really finding it difficult to hit that egg shell. Vivekananda was seeing all these things from a distance and he smiled. Among that one student found that Vivekananda is laughing at them so they all went to Vivekananda and told, “You are laughing us but do you think that you can shoot this egg shell? He again smiled and replied, “I will try.”
Vivekananda took the gun and he stood for five minutes and he fired the gun. Whenever he used to fire, he shoot egg shell students were really surprised to see this. They told Vivekananda, “you should have some hands of practice, than only this is possible?”
On this swami Vivekananda told them that the Key of success depends upon the POWER OF CONCENTRATION.

Now we should think about this sentence. This sentence will inspire each and every person and its really heart touching sentence.

In one of his article, he mentioned as follow:

“Hear, ye children of immortal bliss! Even ye that reside in higher spheres! I have found the Ancient One who is beyond all darkness, all delusion: knowing Him alone you shall be saved from death over again.” “Children of immortal bliss” - what a sweet, what a hopeful name! Allow me to call you, brethren, by that sweet name - heirs of immortal bliss — yea, the Hindu refuses to call you sinners. Ye are the Children of God, the sharers of immortal bliss, holy and perfect beings. Ye divinities on earth — sinners! It is a sin to call a man so; it is a standing libel on human nature. Come up, O lions, and shake off the delusion that you are sheep; you are souls immortal, spirits free, blest and eternal; ye are not matter, ye are not bodies; matter is your servant, not you the servant of matter.

Really, after reading this anybody can think twice on this.”

What a sentence..!!!

He used to say always….
Arise! Awake ! and stop not till the goal is reached.

After reading this any normal person also will keep some hope and will work for that. Such a Great person will not Born on this earth Again.

    Why I admire Vivekananda:

Vivekananda distills the teachings of Veda and Vedanta, presenting them in modern context and explaining with perfect logic and clarity. Only in Vedanta can you truly pursue a religion logically all the way to ultimate goal - Mukti / Nirvana / Salvation. Vivekananda’s teaching enables and encourages even the most downtrodden. He is like a glowing flame of spirituality which in an instant dispels eons of darkness in a flash.

Any youth has iron muscles and nerves of steel-May it be a boy or Girl and so cannot help heeding to the clarion call of our Great Hero Swami Vivekananda. His call”Uttishtatha, Jagratha, Prapya varannibodhatha-awaken us whenever we dive many times into deep slumber, many a times catalysed by the inherent tamasic qualities and external distractive worl extends its helping hands… When most of the young blooded achievers are put to track of achievement-How can we forget and not admire the Hero of All Ages???
People say, Srimad Bhagavat Geetha, Thirukkural etc ., gives Universal propaganda of truth airrespective of age, caste, sex and even religion- I feel even Swamiji’s word’s come into this category- No matter what is you is your religion, caste, social status, mental and physical calibre- An apt message could be received from Swamiji.
He leads us to the unattainable cliff of God realisation through a path of unseflish work and unselfish love. Indeed it is a treacherous path but his algorithm (His sayings) when followed the ascent is a very easy a task. Die for a task and Fear not What may come!!!!! These quitessence of Swamiji’s words which relfects in all most all of his speeches and writings make me admire him more and more

India is place of saints.some of them we know and many we dont know.
samiji was different from other people.his teachings were different.
i am not saying samiji had greater power than other great peole.but his teachings
were different.according to me he came to arouse the will power and the thought
that nothing is impossible within every humans. At that time india was dominated by british.
indians were treated as slaves.indians had completely forgotten their power.
Samiji did make people remmember about their powers.
rojo goun=”the power to dominate, decitate”was almost nill within indians.
This is why mughals, britishers were able dominate india.
Samiji was the first saint who gave importance to karma{most}.
He set 2 paths……..1)for people who want to achieve materialistic things
2)for the people who want to achieve “god”
He said both this peole to perform “karma”
here lies a different between samiji and other great people.
others saits shown way for achieving god.
their teachings reveil that they wanted pepole to acquire
    “bhakti yog”and “jnan yog”………….
but left out karma……tis lead laziness, lack of will power,
    lack of laziness………

this y i love, admire, respect and pray samiji the most.
